FlexM

(past projects)

FlexM is a 'computationally enhanced construction kit' that will enable a designer to construct, using a hub-and-spoke system with microprocessors embedded in the hubs, models that can subsequently be recognized by a computer. As the designer plays with the physical model, assembling, bending, and twisting the components, the computational representation follows along.
