Dr. Bharat Dave completed his doctoral studies in computational design at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). He has taught and conducted research at the Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh) and ETH Zurich. He has also held visiting positions at the National Institute of Design (Ahmedabad) and the University of Sydney. He now teaches digital design studios, pursues research in computational design, and is the Associate Dean (Research) in the Faculty. He has published many papers and served as a reviewer for international conferences. He is a member of the International Association for Computer-Aided Design in Architecture and an affiliate member of the IEEE Computer Society.
Dr Dave's research interests include computational models of design, collaborative CAD, multimedia representations and models, knowledge-based systems and immersive environments.
