Welcome to the Rapid Protoyping Lab
The lab provides access to Rapid Prototyping Technology for students in
design classes across the Carnegie Mellon campus.
All the RP machines have an hourly charge rate; some have additional
material charges. Payment for parts can be made using CMU general
ledger or grant accounting strings. In addition, students and staff
can write personal checks and instructors may make arrangmements for
class accounts. We do not invoice and we do not accept credit cards.
We are located in Margaret Morrison Carnegie Hall ( Academic), Fourth Floor, Room 401.
Note hat our site is under construction and
the information will be updated as we continue to test our prototyping machines.
