Sketching Games

Picturephone and StellaSketch are two examples of sketching games. These are actually data collection tools disguised as fun, multiplayer games. The data can be used for various purposes: to train recognizers, or to test segmentation and recognition algorithms. They are examples of human computation: using the intelligence of large numbers of people to help make computers smarter.
