National Outlook for Automation in the Home (NOAH)
The National Outlook for Automation in the Home (NOAH) is a research project of the Center for Research on Information Technology in Organizations (CRITO) at the University of California, Irvine and is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation. The main objective of the study is to examine the use of new media and information technologies in the home and their impact on family life and home-based work life. The project has been tracking home computer use since the mid-1980's and the current study will conclude in 2002.
