Edward Yim's Design

(Booth Designs)

This booth is set up as a representation of a full scale home. the home consists of two

rooms, a living room/kitchen, and a bedroom with a bathroom. instead of the conventional

"rectangle cubes" rooms, I've created a "lecture hall-type" rooms with about four different

floors that ascend up towards the back of the building. The dining table and the couch and

other furniture protrude from the "walls" and can be put back into place when not in use.

This can be done with the use of the "wheel" system most common cabinets use. The living

room is the first thing you see as you enter. Since the bedroom is private, it is located

under the "floor/walls" of the living room.
