We seeked to design a type of furniture that can be configured in many different ways (with a central pivot) to suit the user, whilst maintaining structural stability enough to support even with flimsy cardboard. For this we went for a simplistic laminated fin design, so that two sections can interlock and yet move freely, and also lock in place to a desired configuration.
