Table Lamp

(cardboard furniture)

The body of the Cardboard Table Lamp was drawn in Freehand, the parts were cut out using a laser cutter, and then they were assembled by hand. After the body was assembled, a template for one leaf of the shade was drawn and cut by hand. Then, using the cut template as a visual aid, it was drawn in freehand (I would have scanned it in, but I didn't have access to a scanner at the time) and the graphics were added. Then, the graphics were printed onto vellum using an InkJet printer. Finally, each leaf was cut out and glued to the frame.

Time to design, obtain materials, and build = approx. 10 hrs
