log bench

(cardboard furniture)

the log bench is a flexible, easly constructed, reconfigurable, lightweight seat made from 50% post consumer cardboard

it's center gives to allow for a more comfortable seat for humans than that of a log bench found in nature

the use of rubberbands is two-fold
one, to not use any unhealthy off-gassing chemicals like those found in glue
two, to make it easy to change the supports or seat for aesthetic reasons

the log bench was designed with no back to be more versatile; it can be placed against a wall or in the middle of a room and not seem out of place

this model was purposely made low to the ground, yet with longer pieces of cardboard it can be raised to any designated height

one can sit on it like they do on a couch or like they do on a see-saw
